Dr Andrew Vitiello, PhD

Andrew graduated from Macquarie University with his Masters of Chiropractic in 1995. Soon after which he began his PhD investigating the effects of backpack design in adolescent back pain. The resulting backpack design was recognised by the Australian Design Awards and is still being used by Australian school children today.

He is one of a select few Australian chiropractors to be admitted as a fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors. Andrew continues in his role as a research active clinician where he supervises a number of higher research degree students in the fields of knee pain, shoulder pain, the use of heat in clinical practice, the use of electronic health records as a predictor of treatment success, and golfing-related sporting injuries in elite adolescent players.

Andrew believes that back pain management begins with education and continues in developing a partnership with his patients in finding their own unique path to better health and improved function.

Andrew now consults at Mt Kuring-Gai Health providing his Chiropractic services to the Mount Kuring-Gai, Mount Colah, Berowra, Berowra Heights, Cowan, Asquith, Hornsby, Hornsby Heights, Waitara, Wahroonga, and Warrawee communities.
