Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make an appointment?

If you would like to make an appointment with one of our Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, or Exercise Physiologists, simply call us on 02 8428 0555. Alternatively, you can book an appointment online by clicking the Book Online button on the top right corner of this page.

What should I bring and wear to my first appointment?

During your first appointment, it is best arrive an extra 10 minutes before your appointment to complete some forms. Please also bring any referrals from your GP or Specialist, any medical scans or blood test results you might have, and wear some loose fitting clothing (especially shorts if you have a lower leg problem and are seeing the Physiotherapist or Chiropractor). This makes it easier for us to assess the area.

What is the cost to see the Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, or Exercise Physiologist?

The fees for your Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, or Exercise Physiology session will depend on any referrals you might have from your GP and whether you have private health insurance.

The cost for the first appointment is $99, and $85 for a follow-up appointment. For those with Private Health Insurance, most funds cover around 50% of the consult fees, and most people pay around $50 for their first consultation, and around $40 for any follow up consultations. This may vary based on the level of cover you have, and it is best to check with your health insurance company for more accurate quotations. We have HICAPS claiming available at the clinic so you can claim your rebate on the day.

For those who have a care plan or EPC referral from your GP, these sessions will cost $30 out of pocket to cover the difference between our usual fees and the Medicare rebate we receive. Bulk billing for these sessions is available for those with an eligible concession or pensioner card or if requested from your GP.

How do I get to the clinic?

We are located inside the new Mt Kuring-Gai Health Hub, which is located inside the Mt Kuring-Gai Shopping Village (where the Aldi supermarket is) . If you are driving, there is free under-cover parking available onsite, as well as along Nyara Road. If you are coming by train, we are a short 3 minute walk from Mount Kuring-Gai train station (Pacific Highway side, head towards the traffic lights, bridge, and Aldi store).
